The Free Health Directorate of Aleppo received 15 ambulances from Syria Reconstruction Fund. Nidal Al Zerzori, director of the Emergency Medical Services in Aleppo, said that “the city’s share of the vehicles will be bigger than the share of the rural areas, as the city has been subject to brutal aerial campaign. The delivery of the ambulances comes as an implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding that was signed late last March between Aleppo Provincial Council and Syria Reconstruction Fund. The delivery was attended by Zakaria Barakat, Deputy Health Director, Nidal Al Zerzori, director of the Emergency Medical Services in Aleppo, and Mohammed Al Shammaa’, the technical expert at Syria Reconstruction Fund. The Deputy Health Director thanked Aleppo “all those who contributed to alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people at home in their struggle against dictatorship.” (Source: Syrian Interim Government)
