Syrian students participated in the “Golden Age of the Islamic Civilization” art gallery which opened today in Al Fatih district in Istanbul. They presented miniatures that portray the achievements of Islamic civilization in the form of models. The Mayor of Fatih Municipality Mustafa Demir said in the opening speech that the importance of the art gallery lies in the fact that Islamic civilization goes beyond the Muslim world as it has left a cultural heritage for humanity to benefit from. The participation of the Syrian students also included a theatrical performance aimed at drawing attention to the suffering of the Syrian students in their schools. The event was organized by the “Human Development and Community Education,” and the “Legacy of Muslim Women throughout History” organizations.
