Three children were killed and dozens more were wounded, including seven children and a woman, in artillery shelling by the Assad regime forces in rural Idlib and Hama on Wednesday.
The Civil Defense said that a girl was killed and another one was injured in heavy artillery shelling on the village of Al-Manara in Al-Ghab plain in rural Hama. The shelling originated from the regime-held village of Darabla.
Local activists noted that a family of five – a man, a woman and three children – were wounded in artillery shelling by regime forces targeting the town of the Qalat al-Madiq in rural Hama. The shelling was carried out by regime forces stationed in the towns of Suqaylabiyah and al-Kraiyem.
The Civil Defense said that regime forces shelled the town of Sarqib with cluster munitions, killing a 15-year-old boy and wounding ten civilians who were rushed to nearby medical centers.
According to local activists, regime forces stationed at Jorin base shelled the town al-Janoudiya north of Jisr al-Shughour with rockets, killing a child and wounding one another.
The Assad regime and Russian forces have been repeatedly carrying out rocket and artillery shelling on the provinces of Idlib and Hama although the area is covered by the Russian-Turkish agreement calling for a halt to bombardment in the area. (Source: Syrian Coalition’s Media Department)
