The President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Hadi Al-Bahra, emphasized that the Syrian people are experiencing a historic moment of transformation to build a state for all Syrians, one that respects the rights of everyone.
Al-Bahra stressed that this phase requires awareness and calm, adding that it places a collective responsibility on everyone to ensure the country’s security and to achieve a state of law and justice.
He affirmed that accountability and prosecution in the rule-of-law state that all Syrians aspire to are directed solely at those who committed crimes, in accordance with the law, and not based on ethnicity, religion, or sect.
Al-Bahra further emphasized, “Our strength today does not lie in the weapons and equipment we possess, but in our solidarity, unity, and moral commitment to one another, to rebuild what Assad destroyed and secure a better future for our children.”
