Hadi Al-Bahra, President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), called on Assad’s forces to lay down their arms and participate in achieving lasting peace for Syria.
Al-Bahra said, “To all those who carry arms against the will of the Syrian people, lay down your weapons and join us in achieving peace.”
He urged those bearing arms to cut their “partnership with the regime of killing and destruction” and called on them to become “partners in building a free Syria.”
Al-Bahra emphasized that the Syrian revolution is a revolution for justice, not revenge, and warned them, saying: “Do not waste your lives.”
