The PYD terrorist militia, along with Assad’s forces, targeted the town of Al-Bab in eastern rural Aleppo with rockets, as well as the villages of Al-Buhij, Al-Kuridiya, Al-Ajmi, and Jab Al-Barazi, on Sunday. The attacks resulted in casualties among civilians, including deaths and injuries.
The Civil Defense reported that the shelling on Al-Bab killed two civilians and injured more than 18 others, six of whom are in critical condition. The shelling targeted residential neighborhoods, a mosque, a school, and a factory.
Hadi Al-Bahra, President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), strongly condemned the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure, describing it as a war crime.
Al-Bahra emphasized that these repeated and escalating crimes originate from areas under the joint control of PKK-affiliated terrorist militias and the Assad regime. He called on the international community and the international anti-ISIS coalition to hold those responsible accountable and to take action to stop these attacks.
He further stated that these hostile acts targeting civilians cannot be tolerated, warning that they would lead to further instability, military escalation, and increased suffering for civilians.
