The Secretary-General of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Haytham Rahmeh, condemned the ongoing horrific Israeli crimes against civilians in Gaza, including the “Fajr Massacre” in which over 100 civilians were killed last Saturday.
Rahma stated, “The international community, in partnership with the Israeli entity, bears responsibility for the massacre that resulted in 100 civilian deaths due to the bombing of a school sheltering displaced persons in the eastern Gaza Strip.”
He warned that the international community’s silence and lack of effective measures to protect civilians will lead to further disasters and massacres. He stressed that criminal forces no longer face any international deterrent, as similarly observed in Syria.
Rahmeh emphasized the Palestinian people’s right to live in safety and dignity in an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
