The Secretary-General of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Haytham Rahmeh, expressed his deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their steadfast support of the Syrian people throughout the long years of the Syrian revolution that overthrew the criminal Assad regime.
In a statement on Tuesday, Rahmeh said: “We have closely followed the Saudi Foreign Ministry’s statement after the Syrian revolution’s victory, reaffirming their support for the Syrian people. The Syrian people hold their Saudi brothers in great regard and appreciation for their past efforts in supporting the aspirations of Syrians.”
The Secretary-General added, “We have also followed with interest the grand celebrations in the Kingdom and the participation of our Saudi brothers in sharing the immense joy of Syrians on the occasion of their liberation from tyranny and oppression.”

He highlighted the historical ties and friendly relations between the two nations, in addition to Saudi Arabia’s role as Syria’s Arab depth.
