The 71st regular meeting of the General Assembly of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) is scheduled to commence tomorrow, Sunday, at the local council in the town of Afrin in the Aleppo countryside.
During the meeting, the General Assembly will assess reports pertaining to the activities of the SOC’s Presidential Body, political committee, departments, and working groups. Additionally, discussions will encompass reports on the operations of the SOC’s offices and representations in friendly and sisterly nations.
The agenda will also feature deliberations on the latest developments on the ground and the political landscape in Syria, with a particular focus on the plight of Syrian refugees and the violations they endure, notably in Lebanon.
Furthermore, attention will be directed towards evaluating the situation in liberated areas and gauging their needs, particularly in light of preparations for the eighth Brussels conference aimed at supporting the future of Syria and the region.
