On Monday, the Syrian National Army successfully liberated the entire Manbij region in the northern countryside of Aleppo, from the PYD terrorist militia as part of the “Dawn of Freedom” operation.
Vice President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Abdul Majid Barakat, congratulated the liberation of Manbij, expressing hope that it marks a new chapter in the history of Syria and the region, alleviating the suffering of residents who endured prolonged hardships under the terrorism of PYD militia.
Barakat emphasized that liberating Manbij is a significant step towards regaining control over all Syrian territories and expelling terrorist militias to restore security and stability.
He also noted that strict orders have been issued to all Syrian National Army forces to fully adhere to disciplinary and ethical rules, treat prisoners and civilians respectfully, and protect public institutions and civilian properties.
