A new crime that is being documented with the cameras of criminals and the testimonies of the people of the region will be added to the litany of war crimes for which the Assad regime will be held accountable sooner or later.
The Assad regime and its propaganda tools have recently begun to produce a falsified version of the Syrian reality and history, using Idlib villages, towns and homes whose people were displaced as a setting for a TV production featuring scenes in which these homes are once again bombed and destroyed.
There is no need for stunts or 3D design software as the houses, villages, and land are real, the same thing for helicopters, jets and criminals. The Assad regime’s goal is to produce a soap opera that is devoid of all principles and ethics of TV production and which carries only one message, which is to perpetuate the mentality of criminality and tyranny that continues to kill and displace the Syrian people.
After the destruction of Syria, its villages, towns and cities, and the displacement of its people over a period of ten years, a new crime is being carried out against the Syrian people with the use of helicopters and jets to bomb and destroy for the purpose of filmmaking and to save the cost of building a setting.
The Syrian Opposition Coalition reaffirms that what is happening in southern rural Idlib constitutes a crime against humanity and a violation of human rights, as well as a project to spread more lies in order to cover up the regime’s crimes.
