We strongly condemn the repeated attempts by the Houthi militia to target Saudi Arabia.
It has become clear that these militias are nothing but a tool of the Iranian regime that it uses to spread chaos and terrorism in Yemen. This rogue regime also uses the Houthi militia to escape from its internal crises and the sanctions that besiege it, just as it uses the Hezbollah terrorist militia in Syria and Lebanon.
The Iranian regime is pursuing a sectarian, subversive project that is aimed at spreading hatred and fighting the rights of Arab peoples and their aspirations for freedom, justice and dignity.
The Syrian Opposition Coalition reiterates it stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its war on terrorism as it stresses the need for Iran to stop creating crises and spreading chaos in the countries of the region.
The Syrian Opposition Coalition also expressed support for a political solution in Yemen, a solution that guarantees an end to the killing, a return to safety, and an end to terrorism and Iranian expansion.
The Iranian regime’s policies represent a serious threat to the region. It is imperative to unite and cooperate to confront these policies as they represent a common background for all types of terrorism and devastation in the region.
