Freedom of expression is a fundamental human right and one of the basic demands for which the Syrian people have risen up.
The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) affirms that it did not ask any media outlet, nor will it ask, to delete any publication regardless of the amount of criticism in it out of its strong belief in freedom of speech. The SOC stresses the need to verify information before publishing it; maintain credibility; and support the peoples’ causes and their quest for freedom and dignity.
