We condemn in the strongest possible terms the shocking and horrible crime of stoning a woman to death in Eastern Hama, as was shown in a video released by the terrorist group ISIS on Tuesday, October 21st.
Reminiscent of Assad’s brutal tactics, ISIS’s atrocities are designed to intimidate the local populations into submission, but that will only make us more determined to rid our people of those extremist murderers. The Free Syrian Army (FSA) proved to be a credible force in the face of ISIS. However, for the US-led coalition against ISIS to succeed, substantial support to the FSA is vital to sustain an efficient force capable of rolling back ISIS’s militants and protecting the Syrian people against both tyranny and extremism.
