Today marks the death of the fallen hero Meshaal Tammo who was assassinated by cowardly and treacherous hands this day in 2011. He became a witness to terrorism targeting the conscious Syrian leaders as he was keen on the unity of the Syrian people and preserving their social fabric.
Tammo set a shining example for the opposition and revolution against the Assad regime as he was a true patriotic who was keen on the unity of the homeland and the unity of the Syrian social fabric. In all his revolutionary rhetoric, he demanded the rights of all Syrians to freedom, dignity and a pluralistic, democratic state.
Besides being an obstacle to separatist plans, Tammo demonstrated exemplary resistance to repressive authorities.
Once he was released from the Assad regime’s prisons in 2011, Meshaal joined the ranks of the Syrian revolution as a free, conscious revolutionary man who posed a threat to the Assad regime and sub-national plans as well as to all Syria’s enemies.
Glory goes to the fallen hero Meshaal Tammo. We are confident that he will remain a beacon on the path of freedom and love of the homeland.
