Terrorist organizations and their sponsors continue to target the peoples of the region with the aim of spreading chaos and consolidating tyranny.
The cowardly terrorist act that claimed the lives of 13 of our Turkish brothers at the hands of the PKK terrorist group in northern Iraq came in this context.
We stand with Turkey and the Turkish people in their war on terror. We also offer our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of this heinous crime, as well as all victims of terrorism everywhere.
We trust Turkey’s ability to track down the criminals responsible for this crime and all the crimes of this terrorist group’s affiliates in Syria, Turkey and anywhere else.
There will be no value for any alliance, international institution or organization that claims to maintain international peace and security unless they establish an effective international mechanism to confront these organizations and their plans in the region and beyond.
