In the name of the Syrian people, the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) hails the positive steps that have been made towards the return of fraternal relations among the Arab Gulf states to their previous state, based on announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly State of Kuwait.
The SOC commends the important efforts made by the wise leadership of the State of Kuwait and its pivotal role in making this achievement to which the peoples of the Arab Gulf and all Arab peoples have long aspired.
Indeed, the challenges facing us today require the creation of blocs that cooperate with each other, unlock their potential, and harness all of this for the good of their peoples. In this critically important juncture, and in view of the many regional and international challenges, Gulf, Arab and regional cooperation is crucial for opening a new chapter and ensuring the stability and prosperity of the peoples of the region.
The Syrian people are looking forward to activating the Arab position on Syria by supporting the rights of Syrian people and pressing for a genuine political solution in Syria.
