The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) offer its condolences over the loss of civilians and military people who were killed in a terrorist bombing that targeted a mourning tent in the village of Tal Al-Hawa in eastern rural Aleppo.
The Syrian Interim Government, security and police institutions, and the Free Syrian Army groups are making every possible effort to maintain security and track down terrorist groups and those who support them. However, the recurrence of terrorist attacks targeting the liberated areas and northern rural Aleppo in particular requires vigilance, caution, and the tightening up of measures to prevent terrorists from exploiting any possible breach.
The source of these operations is well known, and unless the source of this threat is dealt with, the means to confront it will remain of limited impact.
The terror of the Assad regime, extremist organizations, and sectarian militias affiliated with it, including the PKK gangs with all their various denominations, as well as ISIS remnants are inextricably intertwined entities that serve each other. They are conspiring against the Syrian people and their aspirations for freedom and dignity.
There is a pressing need for support at various levels and real assistance from the international community to confront these escalating terrorist threats.
