The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) extends its sincere condolences to the Humanitarian Relief Organization in the town of al-Bab in rural Aleppo for the death of its director Amer Alvin who was killed in an explosion that targeted his car on Tuesday. We pray that Allah have mercy and forgiveness on and inspire his family and colleagues patience and solace.
The direct targeting of a director of a humanitarian organization working to provide food security and livelihoods constitutes a heinous crime through which the perpetrators seek to destabilize the region.
The SOC highly appreciates the role of all humanitarian workers for their efforts to provide humanitarian aid to the Syrian people in these difficult times.
