The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) welcomes the ceasefire agreement reached in Libya and announced by head of the Presidential Council of Libya and prime minister of the Government of National Accord, Fayez al-Sarraj.
The SOC expresses its hope that all parties will fully abide by the agreement throughout Libya.
We affirm that political solutions are the only way to put an end to internal conflicts. This agreement represents an opportunity to end the war and open the door towards achieving the goals of the Libyan revolution and ensuring stability and prosperity in this sisterly country.
