Khaled Khoja
President of the Syrian National Coalition

Dear Jordanians:
I offer my sincere condolences on the execution of First Lieutenant pilot Mouaz Kasasbeh, whose blood mingled with the soil of our beloved Syria, and whose remains mingled with those of hundreds of thousands of Syrians killed by Assad’s barrel bombs and the terrorist group ISIS.
While I strongly condemn this barbaric act, which symbolizes pure evil that the terrorist group represents, and the deepest of depravity to which they are prepared to sink, I call upon the peoples and governments of the world to stand by the Syrian people and end their suffering caused by the Assad regime and ISIS alike.
The US-led coalition’s air strikes against ISIS positions in the town of Ayn al-Arab (Kobané) have proven that they are unable to completely eliminate terrorism without coordination and cooperation with the mainstream rebel factions and without empowering the FSA which has been fighting the Assad regime and ISIS under-resourced and underequipped.
We extend our condolences to the family of pilot Moaz, to the Kasasbeh tribe, to the Jordanian people who have stood by their Syrian brothers, and to King Abdullah Bin Al Hussein.
We also extend condolences to the families of Syrians who are killed daily either by burning, bombardment or under torture at the hands of Assad’s murderous regime.
We ask mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded and freedom for our detainees.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
