Syrian Coalition

On behalf of the Syrian people, the Syrian Coalition condemns the murder of Father Jacques Hamel who was killed in his church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray northern France on Tuesday. The Coalition extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Father Hamel and the worshipper injured in the attack.
The Coalition is confident the French people and their government are able to overcome such terrible crimes aimed at causing chaos and terror as well at undermining security and stability.
The Coalition reaffirms condemnation of terrorism in all its forms. It is unacceptable for these crimes to continue to happen without the international community being able to understand and tackle the root cause of these crimes.
The Coalition reiterates it stands in solidarity with France in the face of such heinous attacks.
