The Syrian Coalition condemns the attack by a car bomb on the Bab al Salameh border crossing north of Aleppo. At least 18 civilians were reported to have been killed by the blast, and activists from the area confirmed civilians were the only victims.
The attack comes as the Islamic State in Iraq and al Sham (ISIS) prepares to launch an offensive to take control of Bab al Salameh post cutting off supplies to civilians in liberated areas.
The Syrian Coalition applauds the dogged determination demonstrated by the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and other fighting brigades defending Syrian civilians against ISIS’s terrorism, as well as the Assad regime’s.
