Syrian Coalition Mourns the Death of Turad Al Zuhori

The Syrian Coalition expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Turad Al Zuhori, the media activists who died while covering the battles in Qalamoun. Zuhori is from the town of Qusair, and was the director of the town’s media office. It is estimated that nearly 140 journalists have been killed since the start of the revolution by regime forces. Nora Al Ameer, vice president of the Syrian Coalition, calls on all organizations of the rights of journalists, led by Reporters Without Borders, to shoulder their responsibilities towards Syrian journalists who are deliberately targeted by the Assad regime in continuous and flagrant violation of international covenants and conventions that demand that all parties guarantee the safety of journalists regardless of any considerations or justifications.” (Source: Syrian Coalition)
