We condemn the joint offensive Assad’s forces are launching, in cooperation with the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD), against the town of Tal Hamis, in Hassakah province. We call on the Free Syrian Army (FSA) to close ranks, to fend off attackers attempting to take control of the strategic town, across which oil supply lines run.
We pay tribute to the heroes defending the town, and we reiterate that the PYD is an anti-revolution group, which has on several occasions coordinated with Assad’s forces in their operations that led to the death of hundreds of civilians. The PYD has its own agendas, which do not serve the national interests of Syria, or the Syrian people.
We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
