The Syrian Coalition expresses its profound regret for the loss of Nelson Mandela, the anti-apartheid icon who inspired the world with love of peace and freedom.
As they strive for freedom, justice, and equality, the Syrian people understand the suffering South Africans had to endure as they were ill-treated, discriminated against, and denied freedom.
The Syrian Coalition offers its deepest condolences to the people of South Africa, and indeed to humanity, as they lose a champion of peace, equality, and freedom.
We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
