President of the Syrian National Coalition, Anas Al Abda, met with the Secretary General of the Progress and Socialism Party, ‎Nabil Benabdallah, in the Moroccan capital Rabat on Monday.

The two sides discussed the latest political developments and security situation in Syria as well as the required Arab stance on the eve of the launch of the meetings of the Constitutional Committee under the auspices of the United Nations in Geneva.

For his part, Benabdallah stressed that Morocco's position with all its political forces has not changed since the beginning of the revolution and that the hearts of Moroccans are with their brothers in Syria. He expressed the hope that all Syrians will come together to reach a political solution that brings the bloodshed in Syria to end an end.
