Rebels Take Full Control of Al Dukhaniya, Eastern Ghouta

Activists said that rebel fighters captured the town of Al Dukhaniya in Eastern Ghouta after violent clashes with regime forces, with reports of the death of many pro-regime militants and the capture of 40 more, including officers. Rebel fighters also attacked the checkpoints of Al Qabbas, Jaramana, Dwela’a, Bab Sharqi and Bab Touma, while regime forces retaliated by carrying out intense aerial shelling on the town of Ain ​​Tarma in Eastern Ghouta. Regime forces also shelled the towns of Ain Tarma and Al Dukhaniya with rockets, alongside clashes between regime forces and rebels in the district of Tishrin, in Damascus. A number of civilians were injured in an air raid that targeted the town of Kafrbatna, in Eastern Ghouta, while a civilian from the town of Misraba died under torture in the prisons of the Assad regime.
