In a renewed push to capture the Al-Mastuma army base, rebels took control of the village of Muqbilah and Al-Mastumah Hilltop as well as parts of the town of Al-Mastma. Activists said that dozens of Assad’s forces were killed or injured, while rebels destroyed military vehicles and seized tanks and armored vehicles.
Rebels ambushed a truck loaded with pro-regime militants while trying to get into the Al-Mastuma army base, and also targeted an army convoy coming from the city of Ariha to the base, with reports of regime losses.
Moreover, rebels destroyed two armored BMP vehicles near the town of Jisr al-Shughour and killed their crew, alongside fierce clashes on the perimeter of Jisr al-Shughour National Hospital. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
