Rocket Attack on a Hotel in Central Damascus

Activists said that the Four Seasons Hospital in central Damascus was targeted with rockets that hit the 12th floor. The attacks coincided with the arrival of the United Nations peace envoy. Regime forces shelled the Thalathin Street in the Yarmouk Camp with heavy machine guns, while a pro-regime soldier was killed by a rebel sniper in Al Qadam district in southern Damascus. Regime forces carried out aerial shelling on the neighborhoods of Jobar and Ain Tarma in East Ghouta, while rebels captured the Jub al-Yabis hill in Al Qalamoun after violent clashes with regime forces. Six civilians, including four children, were killed in barrel bomb attacks on Deir Muqrin in Wadi Barada, alongside violent clashes between rebels and regime forces on the outskirts of the village. The number of the victims of the aerial shelling on Douma yesterday rose to 22, while a number of civilians were killed or others injured in rocket shelling by regime forces on the road linking the town of Kafrbatna and Hazzah in East Ghouta.
