Spokesman for the Syrian Coalition Salem al-Meslet strongly condemns the brutal massacre where an air raid killed 23 children as they were coming out the mosque. Assad’s forces committed this war crime targeting children in the town of Eastern Ghariya in rural Dara’a.
The Syrian Coalition renews calls on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards Syrian civilians and to stop ignoring the crimes of the Assad regime, policy, stressing the need to expedite the arming of the Free Syrian Army and the establishment of safe zones in northern and southern Syria.
Dozens of civilians were also killed in missile attacks and air raids on the town of Douma near Damascus, while many more are still buried under the rubble.
“While we extend the most sincere condolences to the families of the victims, we renew our confidence in the heroes of the southern front and hail the spectacular gains they make against regime forces.
