Secretary of the political committee Anas al-Abdah said that the Syrian Coalition will work actively to make the upcoming Riyadh conference successful as this serves the goals and interests of the Syrian people.
At its meeting which began yesterday, the political committee discussed the Syrian Coalition’s preparations for the Riyadh conference and reviewed proposals submitted on the basic ideas of the conference’s final statement. Members of the political committee also discussed principles of the political process.
Abdah expresses hope that the upcoming Riyadh conference will come out with unified vision about the future of Syria and the political process through which the Syrian opposition can re-arrange its ranks in the political, military and civilian fields.
Vive-president Mustafa Osso describes the Riyadh conference as very important as it will be held in a critical stage of the revolution, adding that the Syrians are hoping that the outcomes of the conference will serve the interest of the Syrian revolution. He also expresses hope that the conference will meet the aspirations of the Syrian people for a state of justice and law where everyone enjoys freedom and dignity. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
