The rebels’ counter-offensive in southern Rural Aleppo continues to make ground, with reports of a collapse in the ranks of regime forces and their allied Iranian and Hezbollah mercenaries. Dozens of pro-regime forces surrendered to rebel fighters, who also captured equipment and ammunition after violent battles.
On Wednesday, rebel fighters destroyed regime forces’ operations room in Tal al-Eis using a Tow guided missile. All the elements inside the building, including elements of the Iranian sectarian militias, were reportedly killed in the attack.
Meanwhile, activists said that the Russian warplanes use cluster bombs in the air strikes on Syria territory, citing writing in Russian language on the casings of these internationally banned munitions. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
