Vice-President Nagham al-Ghadiri reiterates the Syrian Coalition’s commitment to the negotiating process in accordance with the Geneva I Communique which calls for forming a transitional governing body with full powers, including the powers of the President, that will lead to the departure of Assad and his inner circle.
At a meeting between members of the political committee and the Syrian Coalition’s representative in Italy Bassam Al-Emadi with Italian special envoy to the Syrian opposition, Michel Fabrizio, Ghadiri pointed out that the transitional governing body is the one eligible to lead Syrians to combat and eradicate terrorism. The meeting also discussed the Syrian Coalition’s position of the Vienna meetings.
Ghadiri referred to the Russian air force’s bombing of a relief aid convoy relief in Izaz north of Aleppo on Tuesday and Aleppo quoted missiles and to its deployment of S-400 missile system to the Syrian coast.
She underlined that with each passing day since the start of its aggression on Syria, Russia is destroying all bridges of trust as it is a staunch supporter of the Assad regime and a key party in the Vienna talks. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
