President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Nasr al-Hariri, sent a letter to the Syrian political parties and blocs that are not represented in the SOC urging strengthening of cooperation and coordination with the aim of serving the aspirations of the Syrian people for freedom and dignity.
The addressees included the Syrian Democratic Union, the Conglomerate of Freedom and Law, the Syrian Renaissance Conglomerate, the Renewal Movement, the Free Party, the Republican Party, the National Party for Justice and the Constitution, the Left Party, and the Watan Project Party.
Al-Hariri extended his best regards to all the parties and groups of the Syrian people they represent. He said: The Syrian people are waiting from us and from you a lot in order to help achieve their aspirations and goals of freedom and dignity.”
Al-Hariri pointed out that “this responsibility, which we all share, necessitates many duties and tasks we have to carry out.” He stressed the need for cooperation “within a unified vision that enhances understanding and joint work in order to accomplish these tasks and duties and achieve the goals for which our people have risen up and for which they are making tremendous sacrifices: lives, detention, and displacement.
He added that the SOC stands ready for cooperation and coordination, expressing his wishes that there will be regular meetings to exchange views on the latest political and on the ground developments and in which the SOC will provide a detailed explanation of its strategy and objectives in the next stage.
