Activists said they had recorded at least 66 breaches of the truce by the Assad regime and Russian forces over the past two days. Nearly 100 people, including 7 children and 5 women, were killed in these violations.
The regime airstrikes were concentrated on Handarat, al-Mallah, and the Castillo road north of Aleppo. Several regime airstrikes and barrel bombs also targeted the districts of Hanano Housings, al-Haidariya, al-Jandoul, al-Khalidiya and Shehan and Karm al-Tarrab over the weekend, causing civilian casualties and massive damage to the residential buildings.
Five airstrikes by the Assad regime also hit the town of Jisr al-Shughur and its surroundings on Sunday, while several barrel bombs struck the towns of Haas, Kansafra, Kafr Awid and Esfouhin in rural Idlib. Regime forces also shelled the town of Khan Shaykhoun with heavy artillery.
In rural Hama meanwhile, the Assad regime carried out several airstrikes on the towns of al-Ziyara, al-Mansoura, al-Amiqa, al-Manara, Qastun, Tal Wasit, Zaqqum, Qalet al-Madiq and Cairo, killing and injuring dozens of civilians, including women and children.
