ACU Moves the Wounded from Kasab to Turkey’s Hospitals

Assistance Coordination Unit (ACU) said that they had moved a number of the wounded as a result of the battles on the Syrian coast to the University Hospital in Antakya, Turkey. ACU also has teams to take care of the wounded in the emergency department and to communicate with orthopedists to speed up surgical operations. ACU profusely praised the cooperation shown by the medical staff at the hospital. A number of the wounded were taken to other cities in Turkey. ACU said that hospitals in Turkey are still receiving the wounded on a regular basis and without any hindrance. It also appealed to all Syrians inside Syria to cooperate with it by writing the name of the wounded on their hands or chests or so that their families can be notified about their location. ACU also assigned two phone numbers to coordinate with the existing wounded from the border crossing. The phone numbers are: 00905380396411 and 0090535393613 (Source: Syrian Coalition)

Preserving independence and national sovereignty and maintaining the Syrian people's unity within the same Syrian soil is one of the critical pillars of the Syrian Coalition. The Coalition aims to overthrow the Assad regime along with all its symbols and pillars. It also aims to dismantle its security apparatus and hold accountable those involved in crimes against Syrians. In addition, it seeks to achieve a transition to a pluralistic, democratic and civil Syria.
