Aleppo provincial council on Wednesday held an exhibit of Arabic calligraphy and Islamic ornamentations by artist and calligrapher Abdul Sattar Wazzan at the headquarters of the council in Aleppo city.
The exhibit included art works featuring Arabic sayings written in different types of Arabic font style and framed by exquisite Islamic motifs.
Despite all the destruction and devastation caused by the Assad regime’s brutal bombardment, Aleppo once again demonstrates it is still the epicentre of arts, culture, and literature as it has been throughout history.
