Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received a group of Syrian and Turkish children, hosted at the camps of Prime Ministry’s Disasters and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD), at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday. United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres also accompanied Turkish President at the meeting. Guterres arrived in Turkey on Tuesday to pay an official visit and to see the latest situation of refugees in Turkey. “You are part of our children, and we consider you our guests, and every Turk has a duty to care of his guests. This is the responsibility of 77 million Turkish citizen. You may suffer a little during this harsh winter, but the government’s task is to alleviate these difficulties to a minimum.” Erdogan said addressing the children. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
