Under a campaign named “Help Me I am Feeling Cold” organized by the Turkish government, an aid convoy of 20 trucks, out of 134 dedicated to the campaign, arrived at the province of Şanlıurfa near the Syrian border. Murad Magdaja, Director of Social Assistance Division in the municipality of Şanlıurfa, said that more trucks are expected to arrive as soon as possible.” A logistics center was set up to deal with the relief aid which will be distributed to around half a million Syrian refugees residing in the province. The relief aid includes a mobile bakery capable of producing 20,000 loaves of bread a day. Istanbul’s Mayor Qadir Tobash and head of the Justice and Development Party’s office in Istanbul Aziz Babuscjo will arrive in Şanlıurfa tomorrow as part of their participation in the campaign.
