Rebels drove pro-regime militants out of a number of major buildings on the outskirts of Jobar neighborhood in Damascus after violent clashes. Rebels also captured weapons and ammunition in these buildings, while a number of pro-regime militants were killed in an ambush set up by rebels. Regime forces, backed by warplanes and artillery shelling, have so far failed to storm the strategic neighborhood which has been carpet-bombed.
