According to a report by the Syrian Network for Human Rights, 923 civilians were killed in Syria in October, of whom 68% were killed by the Assad regime and its Russia ally.
The report attributed civilian casualties to seven active parties to the conflict in Syria, namely Assad’s forces, local and foreign Shiite militias, Russian forces, international coalition forces, extremist militant groups, militias of the ‘self-administration,’ and other armed groups.
The Network called on the Russian guarantor to abide by the agreements on Syria and to exert pressure on Assad and Tehran to stop all forms of killing, bombing and torture to death in detention centers and to release all detainees.
The Syrian Coalition condemned the series of brutal massacres that left dozens of civilians killed as it stressed that the Russian occupation forces, the Assad regime, the Iranian terrorist organizations, and ISIS bear primary responsibility for these crimes.
