Head of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG) Jawad Abu Hatab visited the Faculty of Medicine and the Women’s Hospital in the town of Marea in northern rural Aleppo on Wednesday.
During his visit to the Faculty of Medicine, Abu Hatab spoke about the importance of education as one of the pillars of building the nation and achieving progress in society.
Abu Hatab stressed that SIG is ready to provide all available resources for the continuation of the educational process in the Faculty of Medicine in the town of Marea, adding that SIG is seeking tirelessly to advance and develop the process.
Abu Hatab met with the teaching staff at the faculty and discussed with them the main challenges facing the educational process and suggested solutions for these challenges. He pledged quick solutions to the problems facing students in the near future.
Abu Hatab also visited the National Hospital in the town of Azaz as well as the Women and Children’s Hospital. He checked up on the services provided in these hospitals and stressed the importance of giving the utmost care for patients.
This visit came as part of a series of visits by SIG’s staff to the liberated areas to ascertain the performance of the services institutions. (Source: Syrian Coalition’s Media Department)
