The Assad regime and Russian forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in northwestern Syria as the Syrian Civil Defense said it had counted 94 violations by these forces in August.
The Civil Defense Corps said that attacks by the Assad regime and Russian forces killed five people and injured 11 others, including two children and three women.
The attacks targeted 56 civilian homes and a popular market, the rescue group said, adding that the attacks involved the use of six airstrikes, two surface-to-surface missiles, 78 artillery shells, and eight rockets.
Local activists warned of the continued violations by the Assad regime and Russian forces, adding that these attacks fuel fears of the resumption of military operations in Idlib and Aleppo provinces. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
