The Syrian Coalition delivered logistical aid worth $45,000 USD to media activists operating all across the Syrian territory in implementation of the decisions of the first “Inside Syria Forum” that was organized by the both sides in late October 2014. The equipment includes satellite transmission tools and internet equipment to use them in documenting the Assad regime’s crimes and use the collected data to indict it in international courts. The second conference of the “Inside Syria Forum” was held in the Turkish city of Gaziantep under the slogan “Participation in the Political Decision-making” in October, 2014. The conference, which lasted for two days, was attended by more than 150 Syrian activists and a number of Syrian Coalition members. It included training courses and joint projects in the political, media, relief, and medical fields. The conference aims to promote cooperation between activists and the Syrian Coalition, to illustrate the functions of the Syrian Coalitions’ apparatuses, to activate the activists role in decision-making and to build genuine partnerships through the establishment of joint projects to resolve outstanding problems. It also aims to strengthen democratic aspects between the Syrian Coalition and activists and to activate the role of civil society organizations. The Syrian Coalition organized the first conference “Inside Syria Forum” on April 28-29, 2014 with the participation of nearly 80 Syrian activists and a number of members of the political committee, the General Assembly, Interim Prime Minister Ahmed Tomeh and his deputy Iyad Maqdisi.
