Assistance Coordination Unit (ACU), in cooperation with the interim Ministry of Local Administration, Relief and Refugees provided the civil defense teams with equipment and heavy machinery needed to help the victims of Assad’s killing machine. The first patch of the equipment, worth six million US dollars, was delivered to the provinces of Idlib and Hama, while the second patch will be sent to Aleppo and Latakia. A total of 54 heavy machines will be delivered to the civil defense workers and include equipment to extinguish fire, remove of large and small debris and ambulances, small and large bulldozers, telescopic handlers, that were not available in the liberated areas. Preserving independence and national sovereignty and maintaining the Syrian people's unity within the same Syrian soil is one of the critical pillars of the Syrian Coalition. The Coalition aims to overthrow the Assad regime along with all its symbols and pillars. It also aims to dismantle its security apparatus and hold accountable those involved in crimes against Syrians. In addition, it seeks to achieve a transition to a pluralistic, democratic and civil Syria.
