Faisal Yilmaz, custodian of the Syrian refugees in Turkey, stresses the importance of the role of the Syrian interim government in alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people during a visit to the headquarters of the interim government in Gaziantep. Yilmaz pointed to the need for coordination between the Syrian interim government and the Turkish government. He also said that the Turkish government set up a Department of Immigration “to look after the Syrian guests, improve their living conditions and to study projects to organize their ability to work and provide them with a decent life outside the refugee camps.” The meeting was attended by interim health minister Adnan Hazzouri, Minister of Local Administration, Relief and Refugees Osman Bedaiwi, Minister of Finance and Economy Ibrahim Miro, Minister of Education, Muhei Addin Banana, minister of Communications, Transport and Industry Mohammed Yasin Najjar, Minister of Justice Fayez Daher and Vice Defense Minister Mohammed Khallouf. The interim ministers thanked the Turkish government and the Turkish people for all what they have done to serve to the Syrian refugees in and outside the refugee camps.
