The 61st regular session of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) General Assembly started on Wednesday in the presence of members of the presidential body, the political committee, and the General Assembly.
The session will continue until Thursday evening and will discuss the latest field and political developments and put forward a set of proposals and recommendations for approval.
SOC’s President Salem Al-Meslet gave an overview on the results of the meetings he held at the sidelines of the 20th version of the Doha Forum which concluded on Sunday. He also spoke about his field tours in the liberated areas and his participation in the commemoration of the 11th anniversary of the Syrian Revolution.
The agenda of the session includes conducting an assessment of the seventh session of the Constitutional Committee in Geneva. Members of the General Assembly will also review the work reports of the Syrian Interim Government, the Assistance Coordination Unit, and the SOC’s committees, offices and departments.
