The 65th meeting of the General Assembly of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) began on Wednesday, which will continue for two days, to discuss the latest field and political developments in Syria.
In the opening of the first day of its meetings, the SOC reaffirmed its commitment to the goals of the Syrian people’s revolution. It also lauded the steadfastness and courage of this great people who have been suffering for eleven years and have not given up on their major goals of freedom and the overthrow of the regime.
The SOC added that it is committed to the demands of the Syrian people for their freedom and the restoration of their homeland. It stressed that it will not be less patriotic than the masses who have recently took to the streets and chanted in the squares.
The General Assembly reviewed the work reports of the Presidential Body, political committee, departments, offices and committees. It also reviewed the work report of the Syrian Interim Government in the liberated areas, and the results of the meetings of the Syrian Negotiations Commission with foreign missions.
