Hadi Al-Bahra, President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), commended the Afrin military police for their efforts in maintaining security and stability in liberated areas. He emphasized the Assad regime’s relentless pursuit of chaos and devastation in these regions.
Al-Bahra stressed the pivotal role of the military police in safeguarding society and curbing drug-related threats, voicing his full support for operations deterring those who aim to disrupt peace in liberated zones.
In a well-coordinated operation on Thursday, Afrin’s military police apprehended five individuals involved in smuggling drugs from Assad-controlled territories. Approximately 50 kg of hashish were confiscated, and the suspects were handed over to the independent judiciary for prosecution.
